Our dedicated pastoral team support students to complete applications, personal statements, prepare for interview and give impartial advice and guidance to better prepare students for life after Sixth Form.
This process is started at the beginning of the Year 12 course and will continue through to Year 13 as many deadlines for University applications are in the October to January months during the Year 13 course.

Students are encouraged to use our careers software during timetabled guidance sessions to better inform decisions.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

IELTS is the world’s most popular English language test for higher education. The IELTS test gives an accurate reflection of a students ability to understand, read, write and speak English. The vast majority of heigher education institutions across the globe will require proof of proficiency in English. Students are able to sit the IELTS qualification during the first term of Year 13. Support and guidance sessions are provided, along with the opportunity to gain an AS Level in English Language as part of the core English programme.
